LINES TV VS NEO-PSYCHEDELIA
Inspired by the stripes of my tv and its unpredictable bewilderment. And in the same way, influenced by psychedelic music produced from the mid 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, that is, neo-psychedelia. I decided to give shape to these two ideas and play with some illustrations that could recreate this feeling. The idea was to convert the result into wallpapers, upload them and offer them for FREE. After this work, ideas were amplified and other illustrations emerged that I have decided to print and frame them in another context.
A memory of my childhood. To have grown up without internet, only with two TV channels and many times, trying to tune in and hopefully make disappear the damn colored stripes. A struggle for the search for clarity in the images, a search similar to that of the search for the holy grail … To complete the work, I decided to recall and immerse myself in the neo psychedelic sounds that helped, at some point in my life, to overcome those past times and that ended up influencing my own graphic universe.

LINES TV VS NEO-PSYCHEDELIA
Inspirado por las rayas de mi tv y su imprevisible desconcierto. Y de la misma manera, influenciado por la música psicodelica producida a partir de mediados de los 70, 80 y 90, o sea neo-psicodelia. Decidí dar forma a estas dos ideas y jugar con algunas ilustraciones que pudiesen recrear esta sensación. La idea era convertir el resultado en unos fondos de pantalla, subirlos y ofrecerlos de manera gratuita. Después de este trabajo, se amplificaron las ideas y surgieron otras ilustraciones que he decidido imprimirlas y enmarcarlas en otro contexto.
Un recuerdo a mi infancia. Haber crecido sin internet, solamente con dos canales de tv y muchas veces, tratando de sintonizar y esperanzado en hacer desaparecer las malditas rayas de colores. Una lucha por la búsqueda de la nitidez en las imágenes, una búsqueda semejante a la de la búsqueda del grial….. Para completar la obra, decidí rememorar y sumergirme en los sonidos neo psicodélicos, que ayudaron, en algún momento de mi existencia a superar aquellas épocas pretéritas y que acabaron influenciando mi propio universo gráfico.
